2024 Travel Trend Forecast: Turbulence, with a Good Chance of Hilarity

The website Travel Awaits asked me to round up the travel trends for the year ahead.

I interviewed nearly 20 people representing various aspects of the travel world. My conclusion: It's wild out there: low fares but more annoying fees, over-tourism clampdowns, baby boomers bringing the kids and the kids' kids, $10 Amtrak fares, e-bike mania, influencers behaving badly, and much much more.
